I was hoping to do side-by-side measurements of this light with the Crelant 7G5V2, but the Crelant unceremoniously died a quiet death. Odd.
Oh, well. I can certainly come up with a good use for the aspheric head.

Been looking for an adapter for the multiple 20mm driver lights i have so they can be converted over to a 17mm driver! That is sweet looking.
We had a bit of weather move through last night. I hope to have some more beamshots and measurements tonight.

Chicago x, is there any chance of doing a run of 20mm to 17mm copper/brass adaptor rings to sell on? I’d be in for a few if possible. Brass would be fine for me and possibly easier to machine.
Wow! Now that's the way to do an aspheric! Plenty of thermal mass there too with that huge pill! Very nice machine work, and I'm glad that new toy of yours isn't sitting unloved in the shop
