You gat a few mAh less out of it. That's all. You're besically getting less runtime by "undercharging" cells. In real world it is insignificant most of the time.
Ah, thank you. But presumably the charger cutting off a little early would protect the cells a little more, no?

Mostly it is insignificant, but you get a little bit more runtime at the higher voltage.
