thanks for your answer HKJ
my I4 charger is kinda slow to charge 4x 18650,if this charger can deliver 1A each slot that gonna really help me a lot

Iā€™ve got a tr008 and some feilong 32650 cells inbound, how good it is? I can only really check what it terminates at.

A good 4 bay 26650 charger with a 2a charge rate would definitely sell, Iā€™ve given up hoping for a hobby charger built into a normal bay style charger, maybe some day, someone will listen and build one but I doubt it, weā€™re just not important enough in a sales perspective.

since a good 26650 capacity is twice as 18650 battery i hope some manufacture made 4 slot and 2A charge rate independently

Nice. When you get the TR-008 please post how it does charging and termination! I just cant justify the purchase unless I know it does at least 1.3A each slot/bay and I cant find any info on that anywhere, I certainly dont want to buy it if its 433mA/slot. Especially going to 32650s, thats a minimum all day charger at that point.

Iā€™ll not be testing charge current, just charge time, they couldnā€™t be stupid enough to split 1.3a between three bays could they? 1.3a on 32650 cells is bad enough, why not 2a/bay and just make people use a decent power supply?

I can't believe it's 1.3A split among charge bays either. That's just stupid! Not for a charger designed up to 32650 size!

I struggled to believe 1.3a/bay to be honest, this thing is charging cells of at least 5000mah capacity, not piddly little 16340 or 14500 cells

Right, it doesnt make senseā€¦but that didnt stop them on other topicsā€¦so thats why I waited  Your charging time of a cell should give us an idea: if its split it will take about 11hrs to fill a cell, if 1.3A it should be 3.25+

Think we shouldnā€™t judge too early. Letā€™s await for HKJ review. It doesnā€™t pay to be early adopter.
2nd edition is always betterā€¦

Gords bought one already, and HKJ isnā€™t going to review it unless you buy one and send it to him!

This

I didnā€™t have much choice, I hate using sleeves rather than filling the tube with cell and the j19 is 32650, I ordered the three cells and a method of charging them.

if its really bad Iā€™ll have to get my hobby charger set up for balance charging round cells and do it that way.

Iā€™ve just been using a hobby charger to balance charge all of my cells that I use in multi-cell lights. I had just been using a balancing harness with magnets, but that quickly gets rather fiddly when doing three or more cells.

So I've started making balancing cradles. That gives me the power and flexibility of an RC charger combined with the easy-to-use benefits of a cradle charger. :p The down side is that now that I have some three-cell 26650 lights, I need to make new cradles to accommodate the bigger cells.
