Zanflare F1 for $20 on Gearbest flash sale.

I saw something about a coupon code or something along those lines, but even backtracked, text-searched for “points”, and found nothing.

Wellp, no sale, it’s as simple as that. :expressionless:

The “new” Gearbest doesn’t allow points if the items have “Flash Sale” status. I think with normal items you’ll see the option to use GB points.

Hmm.

So, flash sale’s over, points are probably gonna expire, that sale’s lost, and probably quite a few more in the future.

Doesn’t make sense…

I just picked one up on Amazon, $19.99 can. & free ship…. thats worth like $30 usd .
If you want I can take pics and give a short overview of my thoughts when I get it.

:sunglasses:

or not. lol

Got the f1 today.
Its everything and more you could expect from a $20 light.

I was a bit surprised how light weight it is (not as robust as might be expected) Its a superb flood and IMO about as good as the $80 nitcore mh20 I have.

The jury is still out on the tail switch/side button combo user interface you need to operate.

My preference is to old school side switch for my household needs, … not so much tail switch tactical style lights anymore for me…. keepin it simple.

I am in the same boat. I still don’t follow what the deal is with GB. It is like they have lost interest in providing good sales to the “special interest” communities. Perhaps they rather sell at higher profits to the “not as well informed” / general public

In case you are not aware, best you quickly use up all your GB points before they expire.

The expiration date is fixed for everyone, which is April 1st. But at this point the GB points seem fairly useless anyway. last year I purchased a lot more from GB than BG. This year it’s the other way around; there are just not that many interesting items from GB besides some Zanflare products. I hope we get to see the good old GB offers again: $10 F1, $0.99 Lii-100 etc.

Thanks for the correction about the expiry of the GB points. I just double checked their terms and conditions, and the way it is written is very vague as to the exact date of expiry. Saying they expire in March of next year could mean 1st March or 31st of March. I am going to assume it is 31/03.

Conditions:

1.ALL points must be obtained within the rules and Customer Conduct Code of our Terms & Conditions; Violations will be subject to points reset to 0 and /or suspension of your account.
2. Points earned before October will expire in March of the next year.
3. Once you have made a verified purchase points will be added to your account within one month of order confirmation.

^ Let me clarify a bit. In the beginning I received mails from Gearbest (spam) with new offers which I thought was nice. But the frequency was just too high, and I was not interested in the products that were offered, so I unsubscribed from the mailing list.
I lost quite some GB points without any warning at all, because the expiration date of these points is the same for every one; the warning mail was sent out in the news letters I unsubscribed myself from.
Yeah, the way they’ve written the conditions is a bit vague, but a simple conclusion seems to be that you loose unused points on April 1st. I still love GB, and the recently acquired T1 lantern with discount code is just awesome!

I’ve been buying from banggood lately. Lots of great flash sales, specially on items in my wish list. These include their own premium blitzwolf brand etc. Hardly any discount on gearbest. Zanflare F1 has been on my wishlist. The price from China now shows 34$ with a discount to 24$. Guess they don’t care anymore.
