The outputs are for very close range use, especially with the Frosted lens for floody output..
I prefer my Emisar D2, the Anduril UI is much more flexible, and imo easier to use.. Plus the D2 weighs no more than the Zebra, both in their headbands..
I like my D2 so much, I just ordered another one.. This time it will be a Green Body, w Green switch, NTG35 4200K, White2 Green, Floody optics, Silver Bezels, and built for Button Tops so I can use USB-C 14500..
yay! please share your impressions, I have not tried the HB4 Small and am considering getting one for another D2…
this is an HB4 Large (18650 size clamp), it has a problem that the clamp becomes loose, so I added the O ring.. I dont like that I cant trust the HB4 Large clamp, without the O ring.
Im worried if the HB4 Small (AA size clamp) uses the same flawed clamp design (hard clamp with soft rubber on the inside, so the hard part is thinner than on the HB3.. )
I like the HB3 small clamp for D2, from 3D printing.. it has not expanded…
If I get an HB4 Small and there is a problem with the clamp getting loose, I will find a way to order a 3D Printed D2 clamp.
After I’ve pointed there is no prefered ~25 lm mode, you’ve noted: “Zebras can be programmed to your preferences”, what in the context supposed an existence of a way to set this mode.
As you rejected to say details, so there is no such way and your cited assertion was inappropriate for the discussed situation.
Thanks for the clarification.
Mb sometimes Zebra, and others, will check what common(!) modes have popular models of small and low energy (as AAA) flashlights by other producers and will input more adequate modes. The task to light a road near on a walking is not rare, where the comfortable (especially for flooding lens) mode starts since ~25 lm.
