Today I got these two (Imalent DM21T and Nitecore SRT9)
DM21T’s led is off-center and it has the worst beam I have seen in a while, nice tint though
I was expecting SRT9 to be about the same size as the TK35 but it is surprisingly compact, very well done Nitecore. On the other hand, I would prefer a bigger head for more throw.
I’m sure this has been done before, but I’m amazed at how tiny it is, so here it is next to my Convoy S2+ EDC with an 18350, but the D4 has the 18650 tube:
I also got the 1830 tube, but at that size, I’m carrying it with the 18650 for a while.
Haha… Yes! And it also doubles as a cheese grater or meat tenderizer.
Jokes aside, it’s not an EDC for me, but actually no, it’s not uncomfortable in my pocket.
.
(obviously) I’m a HUGE fan of aggressive knurling. I’d be nice if someone with a lathe made aluminum tubes with aggressive knurling like this for our Convoys, s2+, C8’s etc.
I got these pill bottles today, two in red, two in blue and two in green. I have had two pieces of a clear version for two years now but when I wanted more I could not find this version for sale since. And now I found them in colours
They are perfect for 18350 cells provided that you sand off 3mm off the top threading, see the red one in the picture (the green top is stock). The rim of the top clears the +pole of the battery by a good margin so that you can safely carry the battery with no possibility for shorting it.
After buying a Lumintop SD26 from FrankA I figured I had to get it’s 18650 little brother. Cool little light. Picked up a Convoy S2+ as well. I don’t know why but I have never had one. Now that I do I really like it. Put the illuminated tail switch in it too. Be nice on the nightstand at night. Picked up another Ganzo too. Tried to get it in one of the Aluminum colors but I couldn’t find them anywhere. Oh well.
