18650 storage boxes

I got my boxes cheap from EU vendor, no need to order from China AliExpress:

Sobeler.com is headquarted in Europe or Spain .

I have some of these from ebay. Haven’t tested waterproofness yet :stuck_out_tongue:

The plastic case I got from gearbest, which can fit up to 10xAA, 5xAAA+7xAA or 10xAAA+4xAA. From slot size I figure it’d take protected 14500s as well. not sure about protected 10440s. It’s great

For taking 18650s on the road I have this Soshine box, same as @djozz, but for 2 cells

And for storage I use this cardboard box that was packaging for something I bought on aliexpress and decided I’d like to keep for some future use. The future use came and it fits almost perfectly 16 18650s. If I ever need more storage, I just use the lid, which fits 20 cells, and if I need even more I just use both.

But are the boxes of higher quality? Because, frankly, I suspect these are exactly the same boxes for 10 times the price.

I have received some advise from a forum member that I’d like share here:

160 slots for rapid deployment.

Wow…that‘s quite a number…160 cells in one box. Will protected cells fit into this box, too? Is this one for sale anywhere?

160 is to much for me, but a 20 slot version of this one would interest me plenty

I like the look of those!! They appear to be stackable trays. Where are they available??

I need it

looks great for storing our flashlight food. Where can we buy them?

350mm x 228mm x 80mm

Shipping fee might cost more than the tray. How many are interested?

I am, dependent upon price & shipping cost. :+1:

I’ll be interested in a few trays.

Depending on price I might be interested.

Interested, depending on price and ratio between shipping cost and material cost.

I’ve been using these acrylic “Lipstick” holders:

(Found at TJMaxx or Marshalls)

Also work great for flashlight storage:

Slot is 19m x 19mm x 24mm. Protected battery might have a chance. I have already ordered one to test out. I will start another new thread if Banggood is able to stock them up.

Thanks for your efforts Freeme! :+1: If you see any chance to test those protected cells from Imalent or Acebeam, it would be great.
