[Available again! - BLF special edition light] new Sofirn AAA twisty high CRI 5mm LED

In a show of support for Sofirn, count me in for

1 Ɨ 3200k and 1 Ɨ 5600k

I would have preferred a straight body but since grooves for clip are already cut into light I think it makes sense to include clip (and a silicone diffuser) for $7?

Thanks djozz and Sofirn.

Yeah, clips are like LEGO parts. :+1:

Clips are practically mandatory for me.

Iā€™m post 833 and 874. Add me a 5600k for a total of three.

I do not need a clip for this light. But i take it. Maybe it fits one of my other lights that came without but needs one. A bigger clip assortment gives me more options for clip LEGO

Upon asking, Barry told me that the edges on the Yuji-twisty will not be uncomfortably sharp.

Also I asked Barry for a beamshot of the finished sample at 1 meter. I got these two beamshots, with no information about the wall distance, could be the asked for 1 meter, but I can imagine from the images that it is closer. And one looks overexposed so you can not judge the beam really well. But even taken that into account, it looks like a pretty useful and even beam to me

It almost looks like thereā€™s no hotspot in those beamshots. Thanks for the beamshots!

[Quote=skv89] the YUJI has no hotspot, or basically one large evenly distributed hotspot unlike any others. Very similar to an aspheric lens flood light.

great info! I like my Aspheric Utorch S1 Mini experience so much, that I ordered a Klarus Mi1C with aspheric lens also. The round even beam means I can place the light and see different parts of the illuminated area without having to swing the light back and forth to paint the subject with a small hotspot.

I agree!
Very Nice Even Aspheric Beam.
.

I agree, and thats why I like it! A nice even round flood.

I really like that the beam from an Aspheric lens is very even and does not produce a hotspot like a reflector does with other types of LED.

This Sofirn is really looking like a winner!

Looks good. Interested in 1 x 3200K and 1 x 5600K thanks.

in for 2 3200k please. Im pretty new to this so Iā€™m not sure how all this works, if someone could advice me id appreciate it

by merely posting here you are included and will receive personal message with links when lights are ready to order

Not neccessarily, it is to be decided yet if this light will be sold in the form of a group buy (with persinal meesages with code and order information) or if 6-7 dollar will be the normal retail price, in which case you just go to the store for it.

L OLā€¦I knew if I posted Iā€™d get you to respond.

Interested

Iā€™ll take 2

The list is now updated through post 981 (bikenber73). Total quantity is 704, which is not prime, but donā€™t worry, thereā€™s plenty more primes to surpass.

Shortcut to the current list

Your original was comment 482. I put you down for 1 x 3200K then, so have added one of each (2 x 3200K + 1 x 5600K).

These updates have been included. Iā€™m glad you are liking what you are seeing!

Also, interested in taking 2 of each tint (4 in total)! Thanks!

Interested in one of each

Barry told me that the beamshots of post #972 above were taken with the light at about 30cm from the wall, ā€œtried 1m but the beam is too big and not bright and clearā€.

lets make this happen before tariff make this $6 light into a $10 light.
