BTW, mine was completely dead when it arrived. The light wouldnāt turn on. Charging it now. It was initially only pulling about 0.1A from my USB wall plug, but after a while it went up to 1A.

Iāve seen that with a lot of lithium batteries from overseas. It charged fine.
FYI, when pulling 0.5A current from the USB port, I got 13,650 mWh out of it. This translates to 3,689 mAh capacity @ 3.7V. Alas, even though the port would no longer supply current at this point, the light would still turn on.
I wanted to initially measure capacity using 1A current, but the USB canāt deliver it reliably. If you try to go higher than about 0.9A, voltage starts dropping notably. Anyway, not a big deal. I didnāt really buy it for the power bank function.
As a portable work light, it works fine, other than the blue/red strobe/disco mode. Wonder if Police would take an issue with it if they saw you running it on the side of the road at night.

Okay, it seems to do it.
Connected it to my āputer, and the blinkylights seem to indicate that it started charging. Plugged in my buglamp that doesnāt fry anything but the bugs use as a tanning-bed (some gnatlike things seemed to get tangled up in there and died of starvation or something), and that lit up that it was charging, too.
So, Iād give it a qualified yes.
