Here are the additions since last week’s update and the BLF INTEREST LIST file linked to in post #1 have been updated too.
The interest list count now stands at 347 chargers.
I'm interested in this and I'm in for 2 chargers. Is there any thought on adding a 9v PP3 charging capability? Would be nice to only have to use one charger for my batteries.
True, Right, I have several USA/EU and UK/EU adapters and they’re cheap.
But it comes with a European plug,
Si viene con clavija EU mucho mejor.
Thank you.
Greetings.
Okay, I just came across this whilst researching chargers. I’d been looking at the SkyRC MC3000. Other than the USB bits (and proposed price), how does the charger in this thread differ from the MC3000?
@malkoffdevices, it’ll be a pure upgrade over the 500S, while being a discharging+USB data out+software add-ons that will make it much better as an all in one charger vs the C4-12.
@riffraff, it supports additional features, such as adjustable end charge voltage, very low current very low voltage recovery, and a higher continuous charge rate.
Is there some information how the information display may look like?
Aside from a charger being a “good charger” (charges a proper CC-CV curve, adjustable charge current, adjustable end-charge voltage, discharging at different discharge currents, etc), I also like looking at the charger information when charging or discharging is in progress (I usually keep my battery chargers near my eyesight while I’m working on something else, and glance at the informational display every now & then).
In particular, real-time charging current, (real-time) voltage display, and able to check the internal resistance quickly. How much capacity is charged/discharged at how much time (I like the MC3000 which can show a lot of information if needed). I understand we’re not aiming this charger to have the complexity level of the MC3000, but informational display + some adjustments are some of my preference for “yet another charger”…
