Emisar D3AA is available now

Right. The 40T/P42A are for the SBT90 version which is what this thread has been about over the last 10 days or so since it has become available.

The service Hank uses got my KR4 to me in 13 days, while orders from Ali from march is still in China.

My order from April 29th for a K1 SBT90.2 is still in processing - very unusual for Hank. He's been like clockwork to ship in 3 days for many years, many orders.

Now my last order with Neal is from Apr 17th and still not shipped, so Hank still leads the pack!

Can Hank Wang say Amps in the tail on the Noctigon K1 SBT90.2 in turbo mode?

There is Labor Day holiday (May.1~ May.5) which caused the delay, your order will be shipped within this week.

With freshly charged Samsung 40T battery, I measured about 21A on turbo.

Sounds like a Samsung 30T is probably overkill then?

I don’t think it will overkill the SBT90.2, there is a test to show that the SBT90.2 can work well at 30A.

Sorry I meant that if the K1 is pulling 21A on turbo, the 40T at 4000mah is probably a better cell than the 30T at 3000mah. Unless you think the 30T will allow the K1 to produce more lumens/candela?

Thanx Hank! Didn't know, all good.

Must be nice lol.

D18 is at 27 days to hit the US and has been supposedly sitting in Ohio for 5 days now. USPS claims they still havent got the package yet. (USPS tracking number)

Parts order from Intl took a month to get loaded onto a boat and im still waiting on it. (Singapore post)

Im not faulting Hank with everything going on, its just annoying how inconsistent this is.

I ordered my K1 SBT90 on April 28th. I got a confirmation email which states it will send me another email once it ships.

As far as the order is Processing? That is not listed in my confirmation email and I can not find anywhere to plug order # in to see more info…

I had my mind set just to wait until the end of May. Once I read a few other posts it got me curious.

On the IOS website (https://intl-outdoor.com/customer/account/index/), go to my account - there it shows your order history with statuses.

When I ordered,I did not sign up for account initially. I just signed up and it says I do NOT have any orders!

All my info is the same today as on April 28th. I guess it does not recognize me, not sure why?

That's happened to me before on other websites. The system can't link past orders (or is too dumb) to a newly created account, so orders done outside of your account stay forever "lost". https://flashlightlens.com/ gave me lots of grief - I'd sign in, pick what I wanted, place the order, but by the time I placed the order, my session timed out so the order was accepted and placed, but outside the scope of my login session under my account name. Whenever I called up my order history, most orders were missing -- very frustrating, but Chris at FFL found a way to later attache the orders to my account so they would appear.

I have had my KR4 for about 4 weeks now. When it arrived I installed a fresh 4.2v 30Q and carried it for a few days. It saw a good bit of use as I played with it the first few days but I would guess the battery was around 3.9v or so once the initial excitement wore off and it went on the shelf. I had not carried it for at least a week before picking it up today, I happened to check voltage and it was at 3.3v! I have the aux LED on high (violet). Has anyone noticed a very high amount of standby drain on their light? Obviously my observation is totally unscientific, and I have no way to measure the parasitic drain. Wondering if I may have an issue with it.

Are you saying the K1 with SBT90.2 will have a runtime of about 15 minutes, or am I misreading? If I am misreading, can anyone speculate about the approximate runtime of the K1 with SBT90.2 using a 40T cell?

Well, the SBT pulls a lot of amps so the 15 minutes will probably be a good estimate
See HKJ’s test HERE

Interesting. That seems kind of impractical for my use. What might the runtimes of the XHP35 HI and Osram W1 and W2 be for comparison?

As I stated above I am estimating that based on my NI40 with the same LED[SBT90.2]. However, the Aspire or Golisi 26650 has 300mAh or so more capacity than 40T or P42A[Molicel].

With the NI40 it was 10 to 12 good minutes of Combined max run time. It may not be 15 min. of combined Max output w/ 40T/P42A. Probably a little less. Remember. The light will get hot and this is Total max minutes invariably in increments of 3 to 5 minutes because of that heat.

The First thing I do with every new light is test the total amount of time[incremental] that it can sustain max, or at least when on max setting because it is dimming slightly, minute by minute. That way I know my battery and flashlight limits and my cells rarely get below 3.60v and never below 3.5V. :+1:

We will find out when we get the light.
