Check out battery junctionā¦ $99.95!
It looks like BatteryJunction dosenāt actually have them yet.The price isnāt bad, but I am sure other US sellers will have it for less.Still, itās already less than the TK41!
Crap. Another IMO must have light. Looks like it would be a pretty good thrower too.
You may have a hard time putting 8xAAs in the Crelant.
This is a serious competitor for the TK41.
It looks like FastTech have the EA8 / EA8W for sale. Use PRICECONTROL as coupon code to reduce the price (advertised price is $99.90)ā¦
[edit]
thanks nitecore sucks, but make some nice lights
pulled the trigger on this one!
I got one of these from Illumination Supply. I have to say Iām very impressed with the amount of flashlight you get for the price (in terms of features and performance). The UIās a little tricky to get used to, but itās workable.
edit: correct a typo
I already have a tk41. So why do I still want this one so bad? :~
you got to feed the addiction. dont try to fight it >)
It could be because of (in no particular order):
- no plastic battery holder
- lower low
- great UI
- neutral tint availability
I only wonder about reliability, for which I trust Fenix a more than Nitecore. Weāll see.
I think Iām going to sell my TK41 to get an EA8W.
I JUST ORDERED THIS LIGHT FROM http://www.predatoredc.com/nitecore-ea8-caveman/
AWSOME LIGHTā¦.HERE IS A VIDEO ON THE NITECORE EA8 COMPARED TO THE NITECORE EA4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OfSN34m3eE
Hi greg, could you edit out the price paid please nitecore is a pain in the arse for price fixing. One reason I will never buy another nitecore product.
i ordered this light should get it tomm
an interesting light
too expensive for me right now thoughā¦ i dont have 8x eneloops so at best im looking at $100 even with the cheapest price out there
Very nice body style. Not crazy about 8 AAs, but for someone it will be great. But for me, yet another overpriced toy. Iāll pass.
thats about what im thinking, except i only use lithium primaries in my AA lights nowā¦ if it came out the same time as the ea4, it would have been a tough one.
anyone here actually have the ea8 yet?
also anyone into these aa lights, what will actually provide more amps/less voltage sag on aa lights? eneloops or good lithium primaries?
8 AAs is a lot. but, a lot of employers will provide free AAs. not me, just Dsā¦
