I have ordered them, now the question is how the shipping works.
I have had some problems with my test stations, but I hope that is fixed now. This means I just have a few cells I need to do before I can get to the new cells, including 30Q
A new version of the “Nice” brand lithium AA battery is released, seems to be an improvement over the old version you already reviewed. But I don’t know when or where they will be available to buy.
I have promised some manufacturers to test their cells and this has been delayed significantly due to my melting test stations, I need to test these cells first (It is nearly done).
I am also nearly out of tested cells, all the small cells I have published recently was something that would have been pushed to later, if my test stations had worked.
Thank’s for your answer. I thought something in that direction. You would not voluntarily postpone the important top cells we are all waiting for and I’m sure that your test stations are glowing. It has been a long wait, ex. the GA showed up in jan-mar 2015 and I proposed a test of it in jun.2015. A lot of testers already did tests on the top cells but we need them badly in your comparator (without protection or rewrap). Looking forward to them showing up
I have bought a few of each top cell and unfortunately they are not all fresh, being fabricated in middle 2015. Hope you get them more fresh.
Did the 4/3AF NiMH cells get into the testing queue?

Just checking as I’m also very interested in using these
(to “downgrade” last year’s li-ion flashlights so I can give them away to people, along with a NiMH charger — RMM has a 1-mode and someday may have a multi-mode driver for 1x NiMH)
Ah, Bugsy, you here? You were the one who asked about the 4/3AF originally
I’ll split the cost of those if Bugsy can arrange to send them, and I will poke around and try to find a seller somewhere outside the US. I’m sure they’re all made elsewhere. There must be a way to escape the search bubble …
Would you mind reviewing the Thorfire 26650 5000mah batteries?
They are supposed to be of quality even though they carry the “fire” name, they are quite cheap as well.
If you have the time, I’d greatly appreciate a review of the KDLight protected NCR18650GA from KaiDomain. This seems to be an affordable alternative to Keeppower/EVVA/etc protected NCR18650GA cells which are hard and expensive to obtain outside of the US. I’m happy to purchase it and have it shipped to you too.
