Need help finding a good rechargeable light to keep in the truck. I don’t care how big but it needs to charge with the cars 12v plug.

I don’t own one, but the Stanley Fat Max XML spot light is all the rage ATM. Available at your local Walmart even.

I Think Stanley Has A New 2000 Lumen Led Spotlight(Fat Max)

I was in my local Walmart and I was looking at the Stanley spotlights. I saw a light that said MAX on it and had a LED with 2000 lumens on the package. I believe it was a a Stanley. I bought one a few days ago and it's a good light for a vehicle it will live in my truck for sure.Throws like crazy and offers a low mode using a dimmer.Good value all around just make sure before you get one to check the led centering,I passed over a few on the rack till I found a nice centered one.

How about this headlamp it has a built in charging circuit powered by a 12 volt input. I converted mine to an XML and it makes working under the hood or changing tires a lot easier than trying to hold the light in one hand and turn wrenches with the other. It actually has a wall plug for a charger but you could simply cut the end off and splice a cigarette lighter plug onto it.

I keep one of these spotlight things plugged into my center console arm rest 12V port. Works pretty well over the 2-3 years I have owned it.
