Batteries from Bestvaping and their shipping costs?

Planned to order a few Xtar 18700 but it seems as if the shipping cost can not be seen until the order is placed. At least that is how I interpret it……
Tried to contact them over their “24 hour” chat, but that just takes me to their home page and no reply by mail (only waited for 4 hours though….)

Anyone knows how it works? Maybe I’m just one klick away but is seems as if I click I confirm the order without knowing the shipping cost.

You place an order on their site and they will send you the total through email. If you find the cost ok you can send them the money. Otherwise, you can just reply saying you don’t want them or just not reply all together.

Thx!!!

And you can inform us later on what the shipping cost was and for what

Yepp, will do….

I have an order with them atm.Similar stuff,Battries, charger, cases.I have found the system tobe a little out of the norm. The website claims answers all emails in 24hrs,this does not happen always.Ther painfully slow, but did eventually respond and very polite.I had almost given up and only by chance found another member had left a contact name when they had similar issues.System for me was………….
Place order[2days],try again[2days],await shipping costs email[2 more days],pay pal the funds[with NO link or invoice from them to pay pal]direct.Await confirmation of payment[instant responce in saying they had the funds].Await confirmation of items in stock[1 day].Await confirmation on dispatched/shipped[2 days].Recive tracking info and link to shipping site for tracking.Tracking dont work 5 days from shipping.Send e mail and ask for tracking to be checked and if its the correct tracking number. The reply came quick the next morning from Tina, whos kewl btw and always polite.

_*In summary, its the usual waiting for the stuff.I dont worry,im an old hand at stuff being shipped from all corners of the globe.Lets face it,its battries for a few torches not my Hart pump or Pace Maker that maybe keeping me alive…lol

Have fun and ITS FRIDAY,Yeh

DON…

I found them to be quite fast, once the rigmarole of finding out postage (check your spam folder btw). Took 13 days from order to delivery in UK.

Sorta what i was saying realy Woody.Once the orders in and paid for,confirmed,shipped,13 days from ther doesnt seem bad at all.In my case i cant comment on shipping speed.Mine shipped last Saturday or i had the e mail then from them.its sopposed tobe with DHL,and indicates on ther invoice the following[DHL Rates (3-5 days door to door service( we always ship battery order by DHL]

Have a goodn

DON…

Ah, they might have changed - mine didn’t go DHL, and now they don’t really want to ship out a couple of batteries. I saw something about a $50 minimum spend.

One reason for using DHL is the restrictions on sending Li-ions by regular mail - a lot of eBayers in Hong Kong now ship without batteries.

It has changed and does now say on the site and ordering system.I have 20 18650s on the way and some other stuff.Hence the DHL i would think.

DON…

I did business once before with a company that did not provide shipping costs until after you placed the order. Never again. Any company operating at way can find another customer.

I suppose technically with Bestvaping you aren’t placing an order until you know what the shipping is. It’s a bit of a pain to have to wait (& check spam folders, if you remember), but you don’t commit until you know what the total order value is.

Personally I don’t have a problem with it - it worked out very good prices with the shipping, so I’d use Bestvaping again.

I think that's fair since some companies shipvia land than air so their costs vary and they need to be accurate .

As long as they aren't stabbing you in the heart than i'm ok with them taking the time to give me an accurate shipping charge.

If i wait a day to hear shipping is 3 times what my order is i'm mad.

They have a retail side of their business with free shipping and I think having both is smart .If you want quantity one will be cheaper than the other .

Thats the thing realy. The order system is unfamiliar…Realy does get frustrating if you let it be,But it is weird from the usual format of, Place order, pay, job done…simples,.Thers must be some reason for ther system, which escapes me.Other than the obvious.Get a true shipping cost rather than a set amount everyone pays.Regardless of content.Im lead to beleive that i am getting DHL delivering/handling my parcel.I paid _$45 shipping,_i did question this as looking a little high for 16battries,a charger, and 10 plastic battery cases.Which i was told carridge for the Battries would be DHLs service on my invoice.Better and quicker it would seem,PREMIUM CARRIER.
The HOOK is the prices, ther good, but when shippings $45,are they and is it worth the pain.Johnnymac sums it up for me.

BRIAN…

Dhl international rates are crazy anyway ..I have no idea who ships via Dhl for international but I never have ,I always assumed they were only shipping must have items or documents etc ..

I always thought that the price of shipping from hongkong was cheaper and that some companies that were landlocked or in the middle of china had to ship twice to get a product out of china cheaply ... Like shipping ground than air ..

..could be wrong ....

I like to make things up

:P

IF desired, shipping cost can be asked via eMail before ordering.

That´s what I did. Ordered 8 x Xtar 2600. Price incl shipping to FI was 6.61$/pcs.

One product I happen to know also, was Xtar SP2. Price was ~18$ and shipping pretty much 17$. Hope this reference helps the OP.

Xtars were shipped here fast and there were no issues whatsoever.

I placed the order for one panasonic battery just see how much shipping was and when them emailed me the total the shipping was free.

Thanks

Isn’t this the bulk/wholesale site? It would make sense that bulk orders have variable shipping cost.

Their retail site, bestinone.net, offers free shipping in exchange for higher unit pricing.

I’m a brand new customer of theirs but so far, I’ve gotten very good service (from the retail site).

Yeah. Sadly, it was supposed to be up by today when I talked to them but we'll see. If it isn't up soon I'll ask again.

Nah, I think it’s just a screw up with domain registration. You could email the efest guy here (all their domains are unobtainable) - he gave me a quote the other day for some efest 3400mAh cells.
