Gesh Sad I’ve had this light a whopping 3 days. First NiMh battery swap through the tail end and I have an O-ring in two pieces. This is absolutely unsatisfactory! Getting two spares with the torch isn’t gonna cut it. I’m NOT happy.

I got my archer yesterday (it is big but I like it) and after some playing around with it I must say I really like the UI, it is the first UI I to date in which I actually like that it has memory.

i revised the section on Archer 1A o-rings in my flashlight presentation thread Wink

You mention Thrunite service sent you replacements. I’ve read elsewhere that they have ignored most everyone seeking better O-rings from them. Right now mine is being operated without any tailcap O-ring. I note you’ve stayed with metric sized O-rings. I’m wondering if a non-metric might work better…. say a standard size # -018. See this page: http://www.broadleyjames.com/o-rings-size-chart.html

Still waiting for my Archer 1A that I ordered through the group buy. The UI seems strange based on what I’ve read, but I’m looking forward to it as everything seems to indicate this is a quality light.

I have this light on order. Does anybody know what the runtime is on max with 14500?

Disappointed with my light. It’s a good light but the orings are sh**. I did a water test in a cup and noticed water inside the reflector. The oring behind the bezel was pinched in a u shape so water was able to get in. The orings on the tailcap and near the driver were shredded from twisting in two days.
