I’m aware that Illumination supply has the magical Nichias, but I was wondering if any international/Chinese malls had them…
I only need one LED, given that I don’t accidentally de-dome it.

The only other shop that I know of, wich sells them is this german one:

…but even for germans the shipping is almost the same as if you order a few nichias from Illumination supply… and I don’t like this german shop… descriptions and pictures of LED’s are often wrong on there site, and 4.90€ for just a few LED’s is ridiculous.

Bump for this, after requesting the 219 failed miserably (they got the wrong model) and they seem to be too busy to answer even our PP disputes…
Hopefully Intl’ outdoor or doing-outdoor can stock these?
Who screwed up your 219s & required a dispute?

The PP disputes are a separate issue, how they’re very slow lately, from shipping to responding to requests to solving PP disputes.

From IS, the shipping is as much as a Nichia 219. It’s not much, but would prefer if I could reasonably order one at a time without having to stock pile them.
Kaidomain now carries the 219 B11 - 120 lumen 92CRI led on a 14.5mm star.

What's the difference between these two? Both are the same temp and CRI per the KD specs...

NVSL219B R85 is an lumen upgrade to our beloved nichia 219s. :bigsmile:
KD isn’t so reliable with led specs tho, might be better to wait until its been confirmed. That listing originally had a different model number & an entirely wrong picture. The bin number “B200” does not exist. :bigsmile: They meant “D200”. I hope they never correct it as it reminds people KD isn’t reliable with specs.

Hmmm.... sounds good to me! I want to build a light for my dad, but he works with network wiring and is partially color blind so he really doesn't like LED lights because of the poor color rendering. One of these setup with a 2xAA P60 host like I made recently (https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/21019) would be a good option for him...
IS will be getting the 219B R85 soon.
IS already has Preon p2 with 219B R85 D220
Hopefully their bare emitters will be D220 as well.
