Finally arrived my first two orders from KD, one 8X7135 for $ 4.70  70 cents each  and two 16 modes 101AK .

Order 18/11 and 19/11, shipped both 23/11 ( the envelope has stamps and date , not false shipping here ) too bad took 20 days to reach my country but that is HKP matter, usual time is 4-10 days registered being the faster...I hope the neutral XP-G R4 shipped last 13th take less time to arrive.

I have an Ultrafire P10 R5 from DX ordered 12/11 which left China on 29/11 still wondering who know where.

I've suspected for some time that the tracking numbers are issued at the time of ordering, but they don't get around to telling HK Post till they actually post the item which would account for the usual 3-5 day delay between getting a tracking number and the package appearing in the HK Post system.

I presume the HK dealers get issued with huge blocks of tracking numbers to use, and they get "ticked off" by HK Post when the packages go through their systems.

That was also my guessing. I really hoped the item was posted already but thats wishfull thinking from KD notorious history and time of the year combined. Im happy if it leaves HK this month.

My last order from KD arrived pretty quickly - it was ordered on the 30th November (1st December there) and arrived on Tuesday 14th December. That's not bad for HK in December. Recently I've found KD to be a lot more organised and faster to ship. The old KD could take three months.

Their account management is a bit annoying, as it forgets my account frequently and asks for login info again. I recently made an order thinking I was logged in, but it appeared to be a guest account I was in. Lucky I was, I had saved the order number at once, I contacted with KD and boy they were fast. They replied in no more than half an hour and my Paypal payment was refunded already. I remade my order and now everything'S fine.

They really are fast in replies and refunds. They are now shipping fast too. I hope they keep up the competitive prices.

First post here... I placed an order last week and the only proof I have is a Paypal transaction... nothing at all on their site when I log in under recent orders.

Should I say the hell with it right off and contact Paypal? I'm already paranoid.

No, the same thing happend to me, when I made my recent order. I wrote a message to customer support and I added the Paypal transfer number. They replayed quite quickly. It seems, I wasn't loged in when I made this order, that's why it doesn't appear on my account. This doesn't bother me much. I had 9 orders with KD and all was ok so far.

I guess it will be no worse than an EBay buy. KD is going well with my orders. You'll need to ask for the tracking number though, if you haven't already at the time you completed your order. They respond fast.

Using the back button on the browser may undo your last action on the site. So I choose a product I liked and want to add it into my cart, I log in, I go back and there I'm logged out again Smile

Just log in and use the menues to find what you like and then order.

You can also find what you like, log in, and use searchbutton to go to item and then order.

Just remember to be sure your account are shown in the top left corner thus: Hello"accountname".

I ordered the KD c8 xml light on dec. 29, and all I have recieved is my paypal reciept. I have not gotten any order confirmation or shipping details or order status emails from them whatsoever. So as far as I know, all i've done is handed them my money.

Is this normal for KD? I am getting kind of peeved at their lack of communication, and dammit, I want my first XML light already!

I always tried to aviod Kd but evetualyl tried them out. Ordred a few things and in about 12-14 days (from placing the order and got a backordered thing for a few days) i receved them all in pefect condition. Packaging may be not up to manafont standards but was fine. It was impressive to say the least as i was expecting much more delay.

I ordered about 30-50 times from Kaidomain: always received what I ordered

The website and descriptions are horrible and I liked the website layout from a few years back better (after that they had a Christmas logo throughout the year??)

I have make only a few orders in the last year because they where slow on having new stuff

In the last few month I see some improvement also at this moment KD is introducing and shipping  faster new items (and at a lower price) than its main competitor.

I just updated the rating with a new pro and a new con,

Recent reports of more prompt shipments and better customer service

and

Terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad product descriptions

I recently got a some orders from KD. Dropins were packaged in a plastic bag (2 together) and with the usual padded envelope. Twice. XML and UV ones. I'm surprised they survived.

Sometimes I wonder why they bother. The specs rarely have anything to do with reality.

There are sometimes some wonderful howlers like this one

I made the mistake of ordering an item without creating an account first. Am I screwed? I clicked the contact us link and it takes you to a login area.

Naaah, i did it a few times... no problems whatsoever. You will not get KD points if anything... whats the use of them anyway?

If you have the order number with you you can make an account, contact the customer service and cancel your order. I did this once without logging into my account and the order was missing. Fortunately I had my order number and contacting them solved the problem in no more than half an hour. They cancelled my order and, I made it again with my account.

Another pro from this people, today i receive a paypal notification about 2.99 refund never asked. Days ago one item which delay the order a few days finally came unavailable , not silly store credits and such, plain money back.

Also I find the first con noted here ( terrible backordered..) a bit unfair since is just a wording issue...

Forgot to noted that around ten orders with an average three item each this one was the only delayed , however no more than 6 days..
