Hi, I am Nick...

And I'm an addict...

Managed to stay away for a while. Got some nice lights already, and every time I turn them on they do what I need and bring a smile to my face. As soon as I come back, I already got a shopping list of half a grand of stuff I want.

Already have a carefully selected collection of a dozen or so lights. Custom built l2m, k40, m6, blf a8, rrt-0, x3.... And then some. They are no slouches. But I need moar!

It's a pleasure to know you, Pulsar!

i just realized you posted 4811 times so far here so your in this neck-deep like the rest of us. 8)

Yeah been here for years, just took a small break lately.

You guys may remember me as the one that found and brought you the Supfire m6, or the Supbeam k40 group buy.... And lots of helping threads go off topic and rants and all

Didn't mean this as an introduction post, just a realization how deep the addiction to light actually is..

You made a break and came back? How did you make a break in the first place? Its like you never left.

Got between jobs, and back into e cig gear... Should have put parental controls on my browser and blocked any site that used the words light, Cree, lumens, lux, bright, cell, shills, spam, forum...

When I left it seemed it was a lot of the same old... But now seems group buys have taken over, and a lot of members have been working hard at making better drivers. Seems I missed a lot

If I can help, there is nothing to see here so if you could just move on your life will be a lot richer and wife a lot happier. Go on, hurry up, the wifes calling but you can here that you lucky bugger.

The driver stuff has been really interesting but yes, there do seem to be more GB’s going down. I don’t have a problem with them as I seem to b,b,b, be ,abe, able to r, r, re, resist most of them, pant, pant. This place is definitely much harder to keep up with now.

Been trying to hawk stuff off to make the purchase of the x40 from the group buy invisible... First sign of an addiction.

There's another one I am interested in, but it's not too tempting at this point. But if they pick the right blf logo on it I probably won't be able to resist

Glad to see not too many familiar faces have stopped coming here though. Shame foy and Chicago x still ain't back yet, and pilotptk is still awol it seems. Hope nothing bad happened to them. Foy took quite a break last time, but Wayne and pilot just seemed to fall off the face of earth

Welcome back Pulsar, you into the cloud chasing scene?

Not really. Kind of modest at the 0.4 ohm dual coils. Like higher nic and 70/30-80/20 blend... Not all that great for cloud chasing, but it sure is satisfying.

Right now I am using a 4nine mod and Magma RDA... Clones of course, can't afford the real deal.

Though I do have a Reo mini and a reomizer in the lunchbox... Traded a Roller SS-M for that. Roller was a great mod, but was afraid of breaking the button again. Reo is made right here in Maine, so it's right at home here

If you ever get into regulated box mods we know a guy building an OKR-T10 device. Regulated really is a whole different world from mech mods. Here's the subreddit he's on: http://www.reddit.com/r/therangerokr

Welcome back, Nick!

Welcome back Nick. I was wondering where the hell you were. Hope all is well :) BTW, we both joined BLF on the same day 7/29/11

Our plan to pull you back in worked. You are owned. Accept it.

Seriously though, welcome back bro. This place isn't the same without you.

Hey, do you have a favorite e-juice or flavor additive?

Welcome again! Quite a few have left the last year, but I don't blame anyone, for me this hobby is more time-consuming than is appropriate for a healthy family life (still managing both). What's new is the driver things, some electronics experts have joined the effort, some already regulars got more and more educated, lot's of experiments are going on. Making the perfect flashlight is a bit closer now.

(and group buys of course. I think the merit of these gb's is more the nice feeling that you all own the same light and chat about it, than the great discounts. The EagleEye X6 is finally one that will be BLF-customised :-) )

I've been using mt baker vapor juice exclusively lately. Blue moo (a frosted blueberry muffin flavor) and cinnamon bun. At 0.4 ohms, it's.no slouch in the vapor department, but not cloud chasing territory.

That mod looks nice. What do they retail at?

Thanks for the welcome back guys!

Looking around the forum, I am still seeing a lot of Supfire m6 talk, and other Supfire models.

I wonder how much their sales went up after the m6 group buy... If I remember right there was little to no talk about Supfire before that. The power of BLF at work

Don't know, but the M6 quickly became the reference light for all soup can lights to be judged against shortly after your group buy.
