It's the same company from above that sounds terrible. This same design has been around a long time but I have no first hand experience with them so YMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMV

Well, you can get them cheaper. Even Sofirn is selling similar SRK clones. I bought a couple, actually one is a 12X in gold that actually looks great, was cheap. I modded it to boost amps, and mixed in a bunch of old XM-L2's in various tints - actually came out pretty nice.

What’s a lightning deal? How do you check? I see it’s like $99 now.

I guess the “Lightening” already struck & dissipated. … I can’t find it with either link. Wink

Top link is $99.

Bottom link goes to ‘deals’ but I can’t locate it.

That may well be ‘operator error’ on my end though. Smile

The S1 R II is $85, only 15% off. Not a compelling deal.

Summer and Autumn are at $59. The winter one that I was looking for is $85 which is a joke.

Y’all talking about the teslacom 12x SRK? I have one.

Three tomatoes are walking down the street- a poppa tomato, a momma tomato, and a little baby tomato. Baby tomato starts lagging behind. Poppa tomato gets angry, goes over to the baby tomato, and smooches him… and says, Catch up.

No, not the 12X. For the teslacom 2 cell light on discount, I was able to get the bezel off with a strap wrench, no glue, and got full access to the LED and drvier - got them out easy enough. I'd rate it as moddable for me, though the driver would have to be mounted/piggybacked somehow in there, but certainly doable.

I took the xml out of mine and put an SST-40 in it. Didn’t appear to make a lot of difference visually. Have not tested output yet. May change it again. It is a 20mm mcpcb so it’s pretty easy to swap. May even try an xp-l hi to tighten up the beam.

Hm? 3.50 – 0.35 = 3.15. Must be that new math… LOL

Anyhoo, mine showed a 12% off coupon, but it only applied to 2 of ‘em, and I wanted 3. Sick

They look nicer’n the usual ’68 clones. And if actually Thorfire and not someone claiming their name, they should be decent quality, even for zoomies.

Figure with an eneloop it might be nice for carrying in the car, etc., anywhere I wouldn’t want to keep a Li cell.

it goes like $6.99 – 10% = 0.69 then you apply the coupon so it would be 3.50 – 0.69 = $2.81

That’s actually how it came out for you?

“Usually” (as in always, as far as I can tell) for me, you’d get the vipon price first, then they’d knock off any %age discount.

Hmmmm…. mine always takes the percentage discount of the total full price before the Vipon discount. As AlexGT showed above.

I always take the slower Free Shipping option because I don’t have PRIME.
BUT notice, if you do pay for shipping & the particular shipment is taxed…. SHIPPING COST IS ALSO TAXED.

This seems wrong to me…. taxing shipping costs. Facepalm

Yeah, unless I’d be buying 8 of ‘em, I’d get hit with shipping (no free shipping option at all). Bought myself a Rammstein shirt I’ve been eying for a while, and that put me over.

I recently dropped Prime again and the TF light didnt have a free shipping option, so I passed on it instead of spending More.
