Today I noticed an Ultrafire C1 with an XPL V5 LED (CW)

UltraFire C1 1200lm 1-LED Cool White Super Bright Flashlight w/ Clip - Black (1 x 18650)

Choice of 1, 3, or 5-mode
A new and an interesting updated version of the C1 so I posted it here.
Description shows: “Current: 3A”

I’ve been considering a C1 for years, since when I first joined the forum but never “pulled the trigger”. Maybe I’ll try this one out.
Plus its also in the US warehouse site for the same price.

These new XPL version C1 are 1x18650 only, the cannot run on 2xCR123A like the old versions.

Good to have a dedicated dx thread, they still have new interesting budget stuff that others don't have.

Those Komaes lights look interesting but they all have plastic reflectors.

This is a commong thing that happens in Japan. I really don`t like it. Especially not at clothes shops... you buy a bag of which you have no idea of whats inside, but you might get lucky.

they even had it at the Apple store in Tokyo, you pay big money, and only 1 out of the 1000 bags had a Macbook pro.

I needed a special character like ‘@’ when I created a new password. Try to include a special character?

Yeah, I had at least one of each: capital letter, lowercase letter, number, special character, and I had a total of 9 characters. I think the captcha wasn’t working correctly. I just tried it now and it worked with all the same info I used before, including the password. It must have been a system glitch. J)

The system does not seem to take into many possible input cases. For example, I was prompted for Old password when creating, not changing, New password. Anyway glad that you got it working.

I just received my $57.09 “lucky bag” from dx. I knew it was a gamble to jump into this but it was late at night and I was bored. Received:
1 pair of dr dre solo he headphones (which are clearly fakes)
1 bag that contained a dozen angry birds plastic birds/pigs
1 20 mW green laser
1 ndstt.com card that appears to be intended to hack a Nintendo new
1 key finder keychain (that beeps when you press a separate credit card-sized device)

As others have mentioned, bag o crap wouldve been a more accurate description. Blah.

and it also has a nice killer spike ;)

downside is, they are XPG R5 (1st gen) and output at 600lumens. (at least they are conservative with these numbers... not showing 3000 lumens or something)

The Sipik SK68 was my first LED flashlight. The only other Sipik that has caught my eye is the Sipik LK07.
