Rofis MR50 - 21700 battery based flashlight Review

I thought I'd try something different: I will post sets of pictures and add comments for each. I received the Rofis MR50 from SkyBen.Trade yesterday and I'm filled with excitement again

:D

SkyBen has a newly designed business card. Well done, but this time, the package doesn't include their usual gift of a USB light stick (see picture below). Perhaps they are working on a new gift idea? Hmm...more excitement is building up as my mind wonders what it could be.

Some might be wondering what happened to the side light? The tube on the MR50 is more narrow and thus, the side light wouldn't be able to fit without sticking out like a sore thumb. Hideous, right?

The MR50 has the following features:

* Uses a 21700 5000mAh high-rate discharge lithium battery.
* The light utilizes CREE XHP50.2 CW LED, output up to 2500 lumens.
* Anti-reverse design to prevent incorrect battery installation causes the circuit damage.
* Uses constant current circuit, with high battery efficiency, stable output, no flashes.
* Made of aero grade aluminum alloy, premium Type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish.
* Can be used as a mobile power supply with USB adapter

The package includes:

1* MR50 Flashlight
1* ROFIS 21700 5000mAh Li-ion Battery
1* Charge Cable
1* Micro USB to USB Adapter
1* Holster
1* Lanyard
2* O-ring
1* USB Cover
1* Manual
1* Warranty Card

Threading the lanyard though wasn't easy at first, but using the pin from the Olight M1T makes it a snap!

Stay tuned for the next update.

Great price for an awesome flashlight. I just purchased my third. Very handy multi-purpose light. Thanks for the heads up.

Two MR70 is twice the awesomeness :D

The discount code is only for the MR50 though.

Ohhhh … my mistake. Still an awesome light just not as awesome as the MR70. A great light none the less.

Thanks
