Well, Lighthound's 12 days of Christmas got me today - I bought a Sunwayman M30A for $50 (normally $99). But then I had to add some Eneloops and a UCL Mag lens to bring my order over $75 for free shipping.

At the very least, I can maybe sell it. But I love the magnetic control ring, and the battery carrier to me is alone worth $20. It probably can't be modded (who knows how the driver is set up), but for $50 it's a pretty cool light -- right?! Damn, I need an intervention.

Nice price for a quality light. It's too bad there are not more 3AA options out there.
that's a very nice light. I love AA cells - partially because I have a few hundred AA cells that cost me next to nothing 
I've already spent way too much money this month - even just today, or I'd be sorely tempted.
That is the kind of "next step up from budget" light that I like. Looks like a great quality light with long runtimes on OTC alkalines or eneloops. Nice find!

I had it in my cart earlier today, but came back to find it gone! Crap, was asleep at the wheel and missed a great deal.
Well I received the light on Saturday along with an 8 pack of Eneloops and a Mag UCL lens (which is amazing by the way, doesn't even look like there's glass there). Great service from Lighthound as always.
The light is pretty impressive. Doesn't have as tight of a spot as the MCU-C88, but it's nice. My roommate was really impressed with the UI, and was mad I didn't tell him about the deal. I may just end up selling it to him anyways, since this light would only come out for show if I kept it. Ugh...I have too many lights.
At least its from a time when sunwayman had that nicer brownish anodising colour, rather than that more black that it seems to be heading now.
