So this will be sold in red light districts world wide?

I heard it comes in NW too.

A potentially green NW, but that’s Cree for you.

huh is that a joke or?

Nope. a lot of knock offs floating around.

It’s a joke regarding the vibration part ;).

Very interesting way of ‘showing’ the remaining battery level.

So the emptier your battery, the more energy the vibration device will use
Sounds like 100% gadget, 0% useful, I would probably find it annoying and even if I was a warrior I’d be afraid that it would interfere with my war, I would very much prefer a common indicator led.

Yes. Just a slight joke as to the vibration feature. It was the cleanest way I could come up with in which to say it.

So it’s also marketed as a weapon mounted light.

What happens when you are aiming, and exactly at the moment when you are pulling the trigger it starts vibrating :person_facepalming:

Whoa, and the gimmick of the year prize goes to….

I was hoping that people would react differently… but it seems we all see it as a gimmick :frowning:
Cant’ blame them for trying new things though…

That’s what it is you couldn’t tell us last night?! Man I was expecting a game changer, not a freaking joke…
Glad we had to wait to hear it from some random n00b 12 hours later.

It's official. https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.olightworld.cn%2Fproducts_detail%2FproductId%3D137.html

I’m not the one making the rules…
I wouldn’t tease on something so basic if I wasn’t told to…

EDIT : 2000lms though, and the first magnetic remote button

You are telling 2000 lumen, but neither the battery nor the body can provide 2000 lumen for long time.
On turbo I do not expect different lumen/minute charts than those on Klarus X12GT and Acebeam L16.

How difficult it was for Olight to make this light 20700/21700 compatible?

It it a strange feature? Yeah, but personally I think I’d notice a vibration a lot more easily than a tiny blinking indicator light.

It then depends on how important you think the low voltage indication is:

1) the status of my battery is vital to know immediately at every stage, please remind me often and very noticable: the vibration thing is exactly your COT.

2) a gentle indication of low voltage comes in handy, but it need not dominate my life: you are a led indicator man.

I never really believed in “tactical” applications…
Like, there are what ? maybe a few hundred people who really work in such situations ?
I’ve always seen this lines of product as gimmicky for the most of them and marketed for mall ninjas :person_facepalming:

But if I forget this for one minute, and try to see a true tactical application for the Warrior X… well maybe a vibrating low battery indicator would be more adequate and noticeable than a tiny red LED.

EDIT : I might be wrong, or really naive. Yeah, that can be that.

Difficulty is not problem. Rather battery un common. Nice with 18650 but would be much better with 26650. Both these batteries are more common.
