Does anyone know how to turn the secondary brighter? On mine they are so dim I can barely see that they are on. I took the bezel off and looked at the pots but I don’t see how to adjust them, looks like a cage covers them preventing them from being adjusted.

Set them to High in the software settings first. Seven fast clicks from Off will cycle them Off, Low, High, Blinking. If the High setting is not bright enough, then you can try turning the pots. You need a small screwdriver.

Here is a pic of the MF01S.

There is no cage. If yours has a cage, can you post a picture?

Also, it looks like there are secondary green LEDs but they don’t work (MF01 Mini – adjustment screw does nothing except for blue and magenta). Is this normal as the pictures show three colors?

The green only light up above 3.9 volts.

The 4th color is red, but they only turn on below 3.3v.

Unfortunately, green never turns on, even at full charge and doing a battery check test (triple click). Thank you for confirming the normal behavior; I will contact banggood about this.

Anyone have the silver color? If so, is the bezel really a darker gray (as pictured) than all the other stainless steel bezels?

It seems most don’t like the green color and just turn it way down. You actually want the green. Kinda odd. Lol

Compared to the womanly pink ones yeah (I’ll turn those down instead of green)… Plus it’s only when it is off and won’t affect the main light anyhow. To each his own (Forest Green > Girly Pink any day, my how times have changed)…

Asked before, but didn’t get an answer. Did anyone happen to find a holster that will fit this light?

Although it doesnt go all the way to the bottom, it goes far enough (pretty close) and works:

Also been using this which is a pretty good fit although it can slide a little bit, but some tennis racket tape around the battery tube would make it 100% tight:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tactical-Quick-pull-Buckle-Hook-Handcuffs-Belt-Strap-for-Key-Black/143433961351?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

You can’t go wrong with the first one, it works; but it would be nicer if it was a bit shorter for a perfect fit. Second option is probably better if you go with some thin racket grip tape as I mentioned.

I’ve had this flashlight for a month and can give a short review.

The light has a high output even in the SST20 4000K version. It’s not very throwy, more of a floody but dut to ots hight output can shine far away even with its floody beam.

There are some thermal issues with this light but if you are not fixating on them you may even not notice. There is a mod prepared by “man of light” to fix them. Also “lexel” contacted manufacturers so maybe they will implement it in future runs.

The voltage measurement may not be 100% correct but you can flash the firmware to correct it.

The flashlight body is robust and if you drop it it will most likely fall on the ss bezel or bottom. I dropped it a few time and it still works great. Its bit scratched and beaten up but didnt fail on me.

I only used the USB C charger once and it worked very well and acceptably fast.

Considering the price I paid for it, there are few bugs they should fix in next versions, but all in all a great flashlight, I EDC it. Currently my favourite dog walking, poop picking flashlight.

Agreed. What about a holster designed by Astrolux? I think they have sold enough of the MF01 mini that it is time for a dedicated bag.

This is normal. The charger only turns on below a certain voltage. Maybe 4.0 volts?

Agreed, id pick up a few right off the bat. The quality for the MF01S and ft03 ones were great.

Goy my MF01 mini yesterday in gunmetal grey 5000k.. feels great its very bright on turbo, alot more then my ff e07 and d4s emisar. I just wish the aux leds on high were brighter Sad I thought first i was on low but then realized they arent that bright on high compared to my ff e07 or emisar.. i know u can manually turn them up with a screwdriver but im not gonna bother with that.. should have been possible adjusted with low and high mode in settings instead imo hen have to screw up the lens… but still a great light finish is good and the neutral tint looks good.

i like how the aux leds change color depending on battery voltage.

The mf01 mini has become my favorite in the bag light which used to be my D4s. Did some tint mixing on mine to get my new favorite CCT 3500K and turned out lovely. Very close to 3500K e21A.

mix of 3×4000K (stock), 3×3000K and 1×3500K (middle)

L-R: MF01 mini (3500K mixed SST20s), Jaxman E1 (e21A 3500K), Rofis R1 (e21A 5000K)

I prefer lower AUX output to mimic tritium effect.
