Wow this thing looks absolutely beautiful. I wonder how easy it is to swap out the mcpcb.

Looks like an awesome light. Probably going to be out of my price range for what it is. Will give it props for looks. Still have to see how much it will be though.

Tritium tubes? Where? Olight has a charger like this that can cause a boom in your pocket. Hmmm

there are 6 slots you can put tritium tubes in ;)

and which Olight exploded?

I think he is referring to the H2R nova headlamp but the exploding and fire catching part was debunked. I have it and it is one of my favorite headlamps. Very well built and the tint on the first H2R I had was the most amazing rosy 4000k I’ve seen (2nd one was very green). I asked Olight to send me a revised replacement cap to get rid of any risk of shorts though and they sent it to me for free.

I will receive a sample end of the week.

will take a short video and then send the code so everyone can get a better picture of the light.

(goal of 20 is already reached)

Yes I’m referring to the h2r. That magnet charging is very cool. I can’t wait to see a review on this light.

I have an old Convoy that uses exactly that same charger connector. It works pretty well, but requires the switch to be very proud of the tube. The one I have has a tail switch made like this and a special battery carrier. The model is BD03.

I immediately noticed the switch. I love the overall design of the flashlight, the switch looks horrible though. I do however still find myself wanting to buy one.

The design looks interesting.

Is the UI mode order really 10-50-100-100-50-10 with shortcuts to strobe? The Folomov has a similar oddball mode ordering but there’s a ton of extras like shortcuts to moonlight, turbo, strobe, lockout.

I dont really like the UI also. Why cant they make it simple like the popular Convoy S2+ with L-M-H

gave the head a 2 minute buff with my favorite polish wadding to show the difference to the raw body as delivered

Great video review. The light looks beautiful, and very well thought out. Price is very cheap for what it offers and I was just about to buy it until I realize the Press and Hold to turn on/off. That was the deal breaker for me. It should always be click to turn on/off and press and hold to switch modes. Sigh…

Is the bezel cu?

it's a full CU flashlight

I think the C&H to ON - OFF is used against accidentally activating. (works good)

you cannot mechanically Lockout a CU light.

quite nice in the hand
odd UI
