My DX 10 mm magnets showed in stock 2/15 still haven't shipped. My KD c8 took 90 days last year. I get tired of the new gadget before I receive it but I still can't resist ordering
Haven't ordered from them after they hadn't shipped my order in a month and I got a refund..glad to see they've only gone further downhill..
Give buyincoins a try. My magnets all shipped within 2-3 days.
Still waiting for my MXDL light to be shipped. Ordered 2011/10/22, over 5 months ago..
Nowadays I try to order only items that say "In Stock" (= the 2-4 days label). Green "4-7 days" means backordered!

Gave up on DX. Got all my money back. Never again. I have had good luck with CNQG and KD, but I email them first and give them the part numbers and quantities and ask if they are actually in hand before ordering. So far it's worked good and I always get an answer from them during their next day's working hours. Never get any reply from DX.
Once someone in the community starts making reflectors out of aluminum, I shouldn't have to order from overseas any more. (Hint to you lathe guys).
Did you forget to file a paypal dispute? By the time you get it, it could be 5 or 6 months since you ordered. That's just waaaaay too long.
It's been 2 1/2 months that they are "waiting for supplier" with my Jacob A60 order.
That's a new model flashlight, listed only by DX, and I assume the manufacturer is collecting orders before launching production (if it ever happens).
I'm not cancelling the order yet, curious to see what a Q5 emitter will deliver from a 55mm wide head. I did inquire, though, and received a reply from DX, asking me to wait a few days more. I hope they took some action towards the supplier.
I hope that DX normalizes its shipping times in the next few months. Has somebody tried the European/ US warehouses lately if they ship faster?
I have received DX orders that Id frgotten about, but the do always seem to ship eventually.
I finally placed my first DX order for some very cheap bike mounts. After all the stories of slow shipping, I never wanted to take a chance on anything expensive. I don't really care if these mounts take 4 months - probably won't use them till Fall.

The first time I placed an order to DX it took two weeks to ship out and two months to arrive. I wasn't able to get into their CS chat it was always offline when I tried. Their cs ticket system wasn't helpful either took long before they respond and it was a canned respond at that.
Then when I filed a Paypal dispute they sent me an email imitating a Paypal refund email. Good thing I was already wary of this dirty practice before hand so I know not to take it seriously. Haven't ordered from them again since then. Only on a very tempting deal will they get my money again.
I think their huge transaction volume is the problem but that is not an excuse. The fraudulent paypal email is my main issue with them.
I filed a dispute with Paypal after I had nothing and heard nothing after 45 days. I paid $5 more and ordered from Manafont I may jump on the dthrckt boycott dx bandwagon.
my hope is that a boycott would stimulate change - there's all kinds of stuff I'd love to buy from them but unless they improve shipping, service - and ETHICS - it isn't worth the aggravation
I ordered some magnets about the same time with some other things. Two of the items shipped about 3 weeks after the order and still have not received anything. This was the first time I ordered anything from them. Ordered from MF a week earlier than the DX order and i received it within two weeks. Thay so far has not been a good experience with DX - kinda pisses me off actually...... lol
Chinese New Year lasted a little longer than expected! ;)
