I think this is a different Amazon listing than what most purchases have been under… it’s not the official Wuben seller this time around.
Other than including the cell it seems pretty on par with a Utorch UT01, Lumintop Tool AA, UltraTac A1, etc which all go for around this price normally. All that to say it seems like a good deal but you aren’t saving >$20 in value over comparable lights.

I don’t have the Wuben so I can’t comment on the UI. But I have the other 3 you mention. I don’t like the ToolAA with its terrible UI. The UltraTac is a great simple light, and the Utorch is (to me) the best of the bunch. Price wise, the Utorch could be had for $10, the UltraTac for$12, the Tool for ~ $16. $20 is a bit steep for these lights, but the fact the Wuben comes with a battery - lithium rechargeable at that - is a plus.
Is this Vipon coupon site trustable?

For those who need a cheap lantern… I have a couple of these and they are decent. UI not so great and lower modes have noticeable PWM but for $5.88 they are more than fine.
I have a few of those as well. Great little lanterns for tents and power outrages.
