It has been Chinese New Year, a big holiday where China pretty much closes down for about two weeks.
(from the end of January to the begining of the coming week)
Banggood has or did have large banners on their website stating that the holiday would cause some delays with shipping etc.
Things will start getting back to normal from this week.
Same here, I ordered Convoy L6 on 31st january ,I received an email that is out of stock, I chose to wait till the end of this month, why they allow you to buy the flashlight when its out of stock Im confused…
It’s a decent price, but does it matter? See a few posts up. I “bought” one almost three weeks ago, and then got the “Oops, out of stock” email. It’s a good price only if you can actually obtain one at that price. Otherwise, you’re just giving that company a small but free short-term loan.
i think that convoy was a great deal as i havent seen it that low price before, so more bought then they had actual stock before the chinese holidays kicked in, so sadly many didnt get and have to wait until they get more in stock back i asume…
I had this happen to me earlier too, with one of the “gift” promotions…it seems Banggood.com has a tendency to oversell (beyond either their current stock or some internal quota), and then throw some of the unfortunate buyers under the bus after. The prices look great, but the hidden costs (of time wasted and missing out on legitimate deals from other vendors) have warded me away from the site.
