It does remember the settings but you need to push the on/start button to turn on the output voltage.
Anyone using the ESP-470 power supply with this controller find a solution to the constant on fan ? Or maybe my unit is defective-do all esp-470 have constant on fan? I would have thought it would be temperature or current dependent but mine is on full speed all the time if it is plugged in. It’s very anoying!

Is the communication protocol published? As in the specifications for how to use it? I think it is just a serial connection at 9600 bps.
Some other sources are calling this Modbus - is it that? Is there a document defining the registers and their values?
Also, which of your power supplies are suitable for doing a CC - CV - saturation until 10% of capacity? eg, cutting off when current during final CV phase is below a certain amount?

Nice, so you have 3 fixed voltages and 1 that is adjustable up to 12V
What are the 5 way binding posts in the rear for?
There are 3 fixed voltages from PC power supply.
Adjustable is up to 32V 5A buck-boost (DPH3205) powered from the same PSU.
Binding posts and one 5.5x2.1mm connector on the rear are for powering DPH3205 from any DC 6-40V external power supply when I don’t have access to 250V AC.
Other 5.5x2.1mm connector is 12V out from PSU.

AFAIK it’s a constant on fan. Yep, somewhat annoying when working late at night.

Found a relatively cheap 57V DC power supply to feed my DPS5015. Please comment if this PSU is good or not. I read your manual and try not to use 60V DC input as it’s the upper maximum limit for DPS5015. And 55V is the minimum input to get 50V output.
