Having that excuse, I'm searching a nice single 18650 XML Flooder with Hi - Mid - Lo modes. No strobes and stuff.
I've read a lot about the solarforce l2-whatever being the best but I also read about weird stuff because of forward-clickys and so on. The blue L2P is REALLY sexy, but from my understanding, a forward-clicky might confuse the driver and make mode changing pretty complicated?
Then, what drop-in to get? Manafont, KD.. I dont really care about battery runtime, I want output. Or maybe there is a flashlight out there I wouldnt have to put together?
Um yeah.. hopefully someone can help me get along with my addiction. :)
You can't go wrong with an Ultrafire UF-2100 for about $15. Super bright floody high, very nice low (I have the 5 mode model) and perfect memory. It's tough to beat that light for the money.
Out of those, I still prefer a solarforce because I dont want my flashlights to roll away.
Still I'm worried about the forward clicky, in one of the big threads on that topic I read that it works fine with some dropins and that its total crap with others.. could it be easily replaced in the blue L2P or do I have to pick another?
That's my Eagletac D25C Mini - nice, tiny little thing. I posted a review on it last November. The Yezl Z1 is identical to the UF2100 with the exception of the driver...3 modes, no memory, no blinkies. It's nice but not worth double the cost of the 2100.
