Hey mate it doesnât sorry.
yes, my new one, bought december 2016 does.
They removed variable brightness, which is OK for me I only use 1 lumen or full.
Lock out in newer Nitecore Tubes:
Lamp is ON, press&hold for ca. 6 sec. till it blinks.
Unlock: Press&hold again for 6 sec.
The package states variable brightness, but you can test it through the blister bag.
