Flashlight for pocket carry/close range

BLF A6 is cheap, tough, simple. Good for work environment.

DQG tiny is a good suggestion too, really like the design of that little light. My dad uses one, switch is a bit mushy but works fine.

My little pocket light is a JETBEAM JET1 MK Pro.
Moon. middle 40%, and around 430/460 for walkabout.

Serious. I carry a Sofurn C8T (Jacket pocket) or Astrrolux S41 (4 x Nichia).

They both 18650 battery. But comfortable in normal sized pockets (NOT skintight).

Jet1 I have to go looking for it in there. Annoying.
I find the smaller aa/aaa torches are annoying,
cause if they in pocket you have to actually look/feel for them.

Basic 18650 torches are not heavy (unless you a real wimp.) you know where they are as you can FEEL them with your hand in your pocket.
With few exceptions they’ll have much more width and throw in beams.
C8’s ? I’d be looking SOFURN. C8a or (mine) C8T.
decent throw and spread.

This is a budget…. light forum. i’m staying with the proven. Budget lights basically.

Gotta go with the Nitecore TIP. I bought four of them. No problems. If you like its features, you have the TINI. Pretty much the same light but much smaller and a bit more power. Got both.
They are rechargeable but have indicators to let you know when they need a recharge.
Of course there is always the tough, cheap, little Fenix E01. I think every one should own one. For more power, the Thrunite Ti3 is similar.
Lots of choices. Have fun.

It was SOOOOO Easy
when we had a choice of either Maglite Mini. one cell
or Maglite Mini 2 cell AA Battery.
Specially with the update LED insert.

WHAT HAPPENED?.
Too many torches methink’s. Ain’t it great.
Enjoy .
