Haikelight MT03 II modding (driver)

Unless you are a wizard ,( and a good one I would say !...),TO-220 sized diodes, new FET transistors , new inductors , plus resistor mod in 14 mm !!!

As you said : is going to be fun...

Well, apart from the capacitors (which are not really important) i’ve finally got the parts in.
But i’ll be gone for a week or so from sunday onward, but when i’m back i’ll pick this driver mod up again.

Use a reciprocating saw or even a bench drill to get the shelf out? You can retro fit a milling piece to a bench drill.

Alas, i don’t have a bench drill / drill press…

I’m considering larger inductors and schottky diodes but there isn’t much room on the driver.

Would anything bad happen if they got moved to the driver shelf and wired back to the driver?
