HaikeLite MT03 & MT07 Group-buy Closed

If $50 is the regular price and we can get it down even further, then I’m definitely down. I realize that Haikelite didn’t do anything to help their rep with this groupbuy, but the V.2 MT03 has made me a believer in them. I would expect better communication on this forum from them before the order is placed though.

I got a MT03 (2s2p) from banggood last December and mine worked great as advertised. No problems of any kind, you should be good to go as the most problems came from the group buy.

My replacement drivers and contact plates arrived yesterday. Hoping to swap them in soon. I want to thank Haikelite for honoring the resolution we agreed to.

Hopefully my parts arrive one day—I was informed last week my package didn’t pass customs so it was sent back to Haik—so starting all over again with the wait—kind of crazy/Bullcrap with them—I ordered a holster from HK Equipment 2 weeks ago—it wasn’t shipped until 4 days later and I’m receiving it tomorrow—plus it tracked from the start

I got 3 "hung up" shipments of lights form China right now - GearBest Lumintop SD26, Banggood Maxtoch Mission M12, and AliExpress Eagle Eye X9.

This is the worse run of luck I've had in the last 5 years, I believe. 100's of orders. Usually it's 10-14 days total for me, The GB is going for 5+ weeks, BG and Ali for 2 weeks with no updates on tracking, after initial updates in China.

After confirming my address and phone for what seemed like the 3rd or 4th time a few weeks ago, the rep has gone silent again. Still don’t know if I’m getting a replacement light, parts or nothing.

It’s been a month since I’ve had a reply on here and nearly a week with no reply to my request through paypal.

Are there any US vendors that sell this light?

No. not that I'm aware. This lights mentioned above all eventually arrived ok.

The MT-03 is now fully modded with XHP70.2's, custom 1+FET SRK driver - crazy 25K-27K of lumens on VTC5A's. This had got to be the best XHP70 mod light around - pretty easy to get insane output, lots of mass for such a small light, lots of fins, etc. Doesn't mean it won't get extremely hot though...

Mountain is selling the MT01 and MT02. Maybe you can ask him about the MT03?

P.S. There is also a silver version with XHP70.2 available soon.

Mt. is HaikeLites official distributor now, so might ask RMM as mentioned above. I’ve still got those very first 4S MT03 and MT07’s, this company sure did come a long way since that GB from Nov. 2016, and certainly did create quit a stir in the beginnings ha ha, I never thought they’d make it in the light business, sure was wrong on that. I’ve got the new MT07S on the way and real curious how it performs with the SMO, should be great, I think it’s almost difficult now to get a bad light from Haike.

It took me 9 months —- several emails and lots of PMs— A final small shipment from RMM—- Lee finally came through with my replacement parts to fix my 2 lights

Ya, Chops, that was a mess, I sent one last email to Alvin or Lee whoever it was and I was ticked off and then I just gave up.
A month later I got a huge box delivered by DHL with 2 MT03’s and 2 MT07’s and they were flawless, completely redesigned, they were absolutely a jaw dropping surprise, if anything they are men of their word albeit way way slow at it, but I ended up as happy as a clam that’s for sure and perhaps an understatement really.

Yeah—I wish I would of pressed for new lights—-I converted my MT03 to 2S2P with the new driver—in some ways better—in some ways not so much— Max output is around 1000 lumens more but mode 4 is a little less—with the old driver mode 4 camped out at 3400 lumens till the cows came home—— my MT07 is awaiting a fet driver one of these days

Yes in the very end it all worked out somehow, that was beyond a doubt the weirdest GB I’ve ever been involved in and I sure learned a lesson, like don’t get into a GB that is handled by the manufacturer and one with no experience at all.

That’s really good to hear man. I finally got a Haikelite as well: two MT02 in silver. One was DOA, and the other turned out to activate LVP at 3.7V… ugh… Got a new driver, but still need to replace it. For the money it just is worth it. Easy driver replacement really makes it worth getting a Haikelite. I mean, who else makes a 3P 18650 single XHP35 light for this money with this beauty?
Got my eyes on a silver MT03 now… and perhaps the MT07S…

I have the new MT07S SMO on the way and have the MT02 XHP35, they are putting out some real decent lights now.
And if you find those codes they are almost a steal, the quality is over the top for the price, paid I think $27 for the MT02 XHP35, it’s a good mod light and their ano is excellent.
And to think that I really thought they didn’t have a chance in the light industry, boy was I wrong, I’ve never seen a company come out with so many variations of lights like Haike did in less than one year, amazing.
A really rough start though but I guess no quit in them that’s for sure.

From zero to hero (ok, there are still issues). Oh absolutely, I couldn’t have imagined this either. They must work their butts off… Makes me wonder what on earth Imalent is doing…

I also finally got the replacement 2s2p MT03 after many PM’s and a very long wait. The performance is definitely good, but the overall experience has dampened my enthusiasm for their products.

I’ve had the spare parts for my original MT03 sitting on the shelf for months now - has anyone a walk through for changing things out? I admit I hate ther driver though - cannot understand why you have to cycle through the turbo mode to get back to low.
