I got in my SMO reflector today for the MT07. Nice bump in throw from 296 kcd to 368 kcd, this is fully modded, sliced dome XHP70.2 P2.
A bit surprised why Haikelite hasn’t made an XHP35 HI version of the MT07…
Curious what the throw would be with XHP70 shaved dome with OP reflector—- Fet driver
I got 296 kcd, but a shaved XHP70.2 FET based driver.
Thanks
MT07 Price, please?
T18:Ya, Chops, that was a mess, I sent one last email to Alvin or Lee whoever it was and I was ticked off and then I just gave up.
A month later I got a huge box delivered by DHL with 2 MT03’s and 2 MT07’s and they were flawless, completely redesigned, they were absolutely a jaw dropping surprise, if anything they are men of their word albeit way way slow at it, but I ended up as happy as a clam that’s for sure and perhaps an understatement really. That’s really good to hear man. I finally got a Haikelite as well: two MT02 in silver. One was DOA, and the other turned out to activate LVP at 3.7V… ugh… Got a new driver, but still need to replace it. For the money it just is worth it. Easy driver replacement really makes it worth getting a Haikelite. I mean, who else makes a 3P 18650 single XHP35 light for this money with this beauty?
Got my eyes on a silver MT03 now… and perhaps the MT07S…
For the record: Did the driver swap for the MT02, and the new driver is busted as well; light just flashes a couple of times before doing nothing when tightening the battery tube. Haikelite fail rate 3 out of 3. :person_facepalming:
That’s very bad 100% failure rate.

I didnt think they were actually sending anything.
The last communication I had from them was asking me to end my PP dispute as they were just waiting on a new run of production before sending me a replacement light.
No light and no further responses.
It (MT03) does work at least but it’s not as bright as my Q8, so possibly just over half of it’s claimed output?

I got it from Banggood. I arranged new driver via Banggood. Banggood is contacting Haikelite to find a solution to my problem. So far Banggood has been pleasant to deal with.
