What scares me though, is that even though I did not buy a light, that Terry us not actually the problem, but Haikelite is in trouble, and Gaikelite issued an NDA to Terry about it, which is delaying the light.

It’s not so much waiting for the light to come in, it’s waiting for him to step forward and be honest and truthful about what has been going on this whole time that’s getting us all agitated.

I couldn’t put up with Terry’s lack of communication on this GB anymore, when I see him posting consistently elsewhere on BLF. I decided to pull out of this GB and get my money back, but I wanted to share with you all what Terry wrote to me. Here are some of the highlights:

1) Terry believes that he has posted “everywhere he possibly can.” “Shipments from China unfortunately do not ever show up on time… and the shipment was sent 8 days ago according to the waybill and purchase invoice I have from Haikelite. It is also a holiday weekend so hoping any shipper will hurry right now is probably not going to happen. At best shipments should begin arriving Wednesday possibly Thursday.”
Terry wrote this message to me on May 27th, so that means the lights were shipped on May 19th according to this message. However, on May 6th Terry confirmed here that the lights had been shipped out already at an earlier date and he was waiting on the tracking to be updated since it takes 3 days to update upon shipment. So it seems, Terry was either mistaken or purposely misled the GB on May 6th. This is not to add to the fact that Terry gave other dates for the package arrival to other members here.

2) Terry also told me that “3 weeks ago the SC26 could not put out the promised light output. This issue was addressed.”
Terry has not mentioned that there was a technical issue with the light before. Additionally, I don’t understand how there are videos of the SC26 where they have a functioning light if this is a problem. I’m not sure if this is another excuse for the lights for not being shipped out earlier but the timelines don’t make sense based on what Terry has told us so far.

3) Terry told me that “If this goes as far as Friday we have already decided we will file for a refund from Haikelite ourselves and return all customer’s money ourselves without a need for anyone asking.”

So there you have it folks, you can decide yourself if things don’t seem to make sense here. I am waiting on PP to adjudicate my claim and hopefully I will have my funds soon.

This Friday? As in tomorrow?
Maybe we will get a post to tell us. Otherwise just watch our account balances I suppose.
I am sure this whole thing has been a pain in Terry’s behind. He would like for the product to come in more than the rest of us. A simple check in post would be nice

I too am considering a refund, but since I already bought the batteries and it’s only $32, I figured I’d wait it out. I think June 5th will be my deadline as well, if Terry hasn’t received them yet.

It also really rubs me the wrong way with his “all sales are final” verbiage he added. It certainly holds no weight when he hasn’t delivered what we all paid for.

Sad that he’s been reduced to hiding and keeping his fingers crossed.

Who did you get this from? Was it ordered with XHP35 HD and OP reflector?

Also, the SC26’s in both reviews were SMO reflector, and appeared to have the ‘HI’ emitter.

I like how the dimensions and styling compare to the SC01. I especially like the larger button, as opposed to the one on the SC01 and SC02.
