I'm a watch freak as much as I'm a flashlight freak. I'd feel naked without a watch!
How odd, it never came to my mind to take a look at the watches DX is offering. They do carry quite a variety.
Too bad that I cannot stand the feeling of anything attached to my wrists anymore - be it wrist watches, wrist bands or handcuffs.
I still use pocket watches, though - a Russian-made Молния mechanical pocket watch and my grandfather's mechanical dress watch from Germany.
I'd kill for a mechanical watch that'd play Ennio Morricone every time the cover is flipped open:

Okay so my white GShock arrived today, LOL
Feb-18 ---->April 21, so about 8 weeks.
But its worth the weight, very nice watch, for sure worth the 7.99. Probably I can see paying $20-30. If youre on the fence then order one, at least for style it looks nice. Granted I just got it today so I cant comment on longevity, but the watch has a nice solid feeling to it. Very happy with this purchase.

Anyone actually tried to stress-test these, how waterproof and shock proof are they? How about accuracy?

hhaha, too bad regarding the price increase.
I still wear it daily. One of the buttons fell out, its not water-proof for the shower (fogs up inside), and the buttons are not stainless steel so they turn a dark color, like they are oxidizing, or the plating is wearing away.
Other than that its still nice, the glow feature is always bright, it has a stop watch which I used to time to drive to work/back, and it keeps good time, and has a nice legible screen that as of yet has no scratches (because its deeply set in the case.)
For 7.x$ would buy again, for 9.x$ I dont know…a real one is 60$ here in Canada, but after wearing the fake Id probably buy the real one…BUT the real one has a plastic clasp. where the fake is actual stainless.

I dont feel like paying 9.2$ for it either, Id rather get something else for that price.
