BanL, it’s really nice to see dedomed SST-40.
I wonder if doing the to CRI95 SST-20 would be a good thing.
The problem people complain about the most with CRI95 SST-20 is that its tint tends to be greenish, especially at low levels.
I believe it was shown that slicing the dome makes the tint of this emitter rosier, reducing the problem.
Would chemical dedoming work the same? I believe yes.
Also it would make a nice LED for high-cri throwers.
Would it be possible to have bare emitter SST-20 4000°K with tint bin FD2 at kaidomain, please ?
Since Sofirn and Mateminco will use it, maybe there is an opportunity for you to find it.
(Or any FAx / FDx tin bin)
Hi Ban,
The last I heard to sort out the problem above is an email from Candy on March 26 (so already 5 weeks ago) that she will compare the photo of the led I sent her with the current stock and that she will “reply as soon as possible”.
First, there is nothing you can see at a XHP35 Hi led in a photo that tells you if it is 80CRI or 70CRI, but still she asked for a photo, so useless but I did send her the photo anyway.
Second, 5 weeks is very long for a reply “as soon as possible”, don’t you think?
