It is on the pricier side ($60) but the smallest listed so far, it is high quality, TINY, a gorgeous deep carry clip, comes with two cr123's but runs on 18650, a great warranty, stainless steel bezel, paracord lanyard, rigid holster, awesome mode selection (from what I've read at least) etc....
Oh, that Eagletac is $49.90 at lightjunction. com and you can use a CPF discount code 'CPFSAVE12' for 12% off. That makes this light a serious player for the price! Especially with everything it includes. two batteries, and a battery sleeve to reduce rattle in CR123 use! Check the youtube reviews etc. if anyone is interested. I am very tempted. After discount, $52 SHIPPED to Canada!
Hahaha. I have so many lights that fits that size description and curently not looking for a big light, but maybe could get one for a long running light.
Maybe what Im looking for is something on the 22.5-23mm range and will probably mod it with a 1-1.4A driver and XML emitter. Usually use my light on medium mode so heat will not be a problem, I just wanted my light to have the option of high if needs arises.
Wanted to get something of this size as its the only missing link to my light collection and wanted something a lot smaller than my P60 EDC light.
I have the AK-12 and it's length is really 112mm, diameter is 21mm in thickest part (where there is a knurling and in the tail where there a threads are).
I'm lovin it: slim and cheap 1*18650 FL for EDC and good worklight with the headband. Mine is modded with T6 NW XML+3*7135 driver (moon mode, 350/700/1050mA) and in maximum mode it don't being really overheated even if running for long time.
But sure, IMO that host is not suitable for currents higher than 1.4A because of lack of mass.
Ok maybe not... I coulda swore I saw some a while back on Illumination Gear or somewhere like that on clearance. Then I was thinking with a discount... but no I just searched and nada. They're for sale sometimes over on the marketplace, or even here occasionally.
Will be modding the light with Neutral XML and 1.4A driver, yeah maybe at this drive levels heat is not my concern as I'll be using medium and low modes anyway.
Here's a picture of the UF-2100 next to a Ultrafire X1. The 2100 is a little longer, but the diameter is about the same. I wasn't that crazy about the X1 and even though I modded it (new driver and LED), the switch still seems buggy to me. I like the 2100 better, but neither of these lights throws very well.
Update: The diameter of the two is essentially the same, about 23.5 mm. The 2100 is 119.9 mm long while the X1 is 115.2 mm long. The 2100 is 68.4g empty and the X1 is 59.1g empty.
