I dunno, I think Manafont has been going downhill for about a year now. This order was in September, still considered leftover from previous ownership. The ownership change was around last week.
We have yet to fully see the new MF in action yet.
I think this very true. I placed a large order with them this past summer and they gave me a free upgrade to DHL and the order was processed and at my door in New York in 7 days. I would not place an order right now with them. I will give them a chance to get things figured out. If they become responsive to e-mails and i like what they tell me, i will give them another chance. In the past, Jim at Manafont was relatively good at getting back to me with questions and concerns.
Placed 2 orders with them 2 months ago…. (and I’ve been using them 2+ years without a problem).
1 order never came thru. It’s been 2 months.
2nd order came wrong. No emails returned from them.
Finally opened a dispute w/ Paypal and there’s no response and Paypal is NOT being cooperative with me on this. I may be out $50.
FYI watch out w/ Manafont. They’re ripping people off left and right.
Not only that, but the last XM-L2 I purchased from them was infact NOT an XM-L2, but just an XM-L. Deception, deceit, bad practices.

Yikes. I always had good luck with them but it’s been about a year since my last order. They have some interesting knives I’d had my eye on, but no thanks if they’ve gone rogue.
I also filed a dispute with paypal. After several weeks of no correspondence through e-mails about my order that has a false tracking number. In the past I have had fairly good communication with Jim at Manafont. Not so in the last month or so. I hope Paypal gets my money back.

Paypal did me proud … still hacked off about order though, need to order elsewhere from someone trustworthy … not keen on any HK traders atm owing to the postal issues ….
