If i had a lot of flashlights and batteries for them all, i would tape them all to a kids merry go round on a playground and then give the all a spin on a dark night.
I kind of have a rotation for EDC lights roberto, of late i tend to grab a few, use for a few days then swap about. Nothing set or properly organised , larger lights have to be deliberate and took out for use/camping/walks.
Most that get use tend to be smaller lights, up to single 26650. EDC tend to be 16340/18350 fed, odd 18650 if compact . If i had a dog to walk again, i would defo have something more organised set up. A large light and a single 18650 back up, and rotate daily or even weekly. Of late it is just random picks, grab this and that to use………
Every light i have has its own cells, have a few stored as back ups(maybe 30-40 extra). If not used or stored , they are locked out to stop potential drain or aciddental activation. They all get used though, at some point i use every one to make sure all is well. Usually co-incided with voltage checks………it is a bit of a head ache tbh. I have thinned the heard quite a bit, gone are a good few that were not used or too cool white in temp. No pics of them all on(take too much time), this was one from a bit back, a pool of light
These lights
Far right is a 6p bored to 18650(v54 with 10a switch). The head is a cryos bezel z44 size, oveready and cryos illumination have them from time to time. They do the larger size z32(m2) as well, and in copper.
Copper cryos bezel
Larger cryos z32
The last light is just a stainless L2T, with a z44 surefire bezel off a c2, bezel and a triple nichia 219b inside.
Here is 3 cryos’s together, left is the z44,cu cryos z44 and z32 cryos. Latter has an xhp70 SD in and fed on 2x 18350’s in the bored c2(beast!)
For size, thrown in an s2+ shorty and an eagle eye x2(same size as an s2+)
CAPO my siberian turned me into a flashaholic! No doubt if it was not for him I would never have gotten my First[now~40] flashlight or would have had a need for these Flashlight forums!
If I had a collection like that to show I would too. I honestly don’t know how many flashlights I have now. I know my numbers are getting up there but I don’t think I’m anywhere near the 100 mark yet.
I’m not skilled in modding lights yet as I just don’t have the time to get into it as much as I want to right now. Family and work take priority. I certainly will get into modding at some point but I haven’t yet had the time needed to give to the hobby I love. My end of this world now is limited to collecting knowledge and inspiring my friends who have the time and experience to make cool flashlight stuff happen.
However long it takes me to get there I’m very much enjoying my journey and the BLF community. :+1:
Warning, i may have got carried away……………
