I came back from Florida Saturday, and had to go to the hospital because of me falling off of an e-bike, getting seriously hurt.

Nothing bad came out of it though, so I’m back!
Recovery is relatively quick, so I’m feeling much better now.

Anyway, the exterior design is being finalized, so if I didn’t have any delays(which I do have, as per the above), I’d be able to release the file.

Do you think it would be a good idea to directly upload the CAD file, or just a pic?

The material used for the casing(hopeuflly) should be T6-6061, since it provides a good balance between cost and heat dissipation potential.

Also, thin high performance(3,0-6,0W/mk) thermal pads could be used for the linearly-driven MOSFETs for discharging, to both dissipate the heat, along with providing some insulation

BTW, I've been in for one since very early in the proposal. I'm a relative newbie, but I've seen the process and unique, superior results of other BLF projects, the FW3A and LT1 being two in particular that I've committed to buying, watched develop, and acquired when available, so my confidence in the BLF charger project is high.

Isn’t 500ma about the limit of a AA cell? 400 would be a bit low and 600 would be too high. I could be wrong. But I would like the choices be provided with regard to what are good choices IRL, not just spaced pretty.
