I received this light yesterday and decided to order another three for gifts. When I looked this morning, the seller still listed 7 available.
It is a twisty with two modes. Tightening the head first engages a low mode. Tightening it further engages the high mode. It’s comes with a rechargable 10180 cell and has a micro USB charging input concealed under the head. It also comes with a chain and keyring.
It came in a nice retail box marked G337. According to Wuben’s website the G337 has a titanium body.
I think the aluminum and stainless versions are sometimes available, shipped from china, for a similar price, but, from what I can tell, $8.99 from a US warehouse is a good deal on the titanium version.
Mine died, only one very low mode, cell is still good and holding a charge.
Send a PM here to Wubben, did not got an answer.
I’d go with the BLF348 as gifts, easy to use, nice looking and safe batteries.
The Miller I got a second one for my wife, and it had some trouble with the high mode. It worked, but it cut out or flickered when the head was in the wrong position. I opened it up and unscrewed the pill out the back. The “driver” is really simple, two SMD resistors and a simple dome switch that doubles as the + contact. When tightened part-way, the postive terminal makes contact, and the only closed circuit is through a higher resistance resistor, tighten it further and the switch closes, enabling a second closed circuit path through a lower resistance resistor.
Fiddling with the switch dome a bit seems to have solved my problem. Both modes work smoothly now.
