Matt over at adventure sports did a video a while back where he clamped like 5 of the top brightest lights together and went running around with them.
Found it:
I recently turned on most of my heavy hitters all at once indoors, the effect was stellar.
Currently, 23 lights add up to 270, 765 lumens, 11,772 average. There is an Imalent MS18 and a R90TS in the mix. Five more single cell 21700 lights are on order, they will add up to an additional 44,000 lumens.
I enjoy little moonlight parties where any light capable of a moonlight mode gets turned on n set up somewhere. pretty fun lighting a room with just moonlights everywhere
I remember reading a funny article years ago that a guy wrote for pure humor. He was upset at a play a ref had called at a football game, and did the calculations necessary to determine if a stadium full of people, each armed with a 3” by 3” mirror, could focus the light from the sun and ignite a referee. I cannot remember what the conclusion was (as ghastly as the concept was, the math he did was interesting) but it was a funny article. I wish I could locate the original article.
I wonder what a stadium full of flashaholics, all aiming two of their favorite throwers onto one point, could do? Heck…might not be enough to warm a biscuit.
HAHAHA! That HAD to be the basis (read - ripped off from) for the article then! The article writer was a bit plagiaristic if you ask me…but thank you for locating that. I need to find the material with all the calculations.
