At first, i put in some 30Q’s and fired it up. To be honest i was a little disappointed, i thought is that everything?
Then i took it out in the field, and man, i got a huge grin on my face

According google the trees are 400 m from this point, the pic is very poor, but it lit up the trees like it was nothing!

This thing is a beast!

Olight S Mini Rainbow edition such a cute small looking light

here its compared to my old s1 baton copper.

I was perfectly happy with my collection of small metal drills: 1mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm. They do everything that I want.

Then yesterday while away for a weekend in the Eiffel, I came across these in a german supermarket. I did not even know all these sizes existed. They are probably pretty crap quality but perfectly ok for aluminium, brass and copper.

I could not resist for 12 euro.

Do you use handhold tool with collet for such tiny drill bits? Regular drill chuck cant hold well sizes under 1.5mm.

I use my Dremel and other rotary tool with special keyless chucks for tiny bits. Also jewelers hand drills do nicely.
Below 1mm the bits are very delicate and will break. A horizontal rotary stand to avoid unwanted side pressure.

Couple more Zanflare F3s.

Y’know, I used to hate AAA lights as being nigh worthless, only as “better’n nothing… but not by much” lights with the limited energy of AAAs, but damn, these new little beasties can put out some decent light.

I have not checked how the small ones will fit my drill press. I have a Dremel but I’m sure they will break easily when drilled from the hand. I will see how useful they prove to be.

Today I got 6 lii-35A batteries, which may or may not be fake

The UTorch UT01 which a great little light I already love

An Eagle Eye short battery tube to use with my Nitecore HC30/HC33 (if it fits)

Today I got these two (Imalent DM21T and Nitecore SRT9)

DM21T’s led is off-center and it has the worst beam I have seen in a while, nice tint though

I was expecting SRT9 to be about the same size as the TK35 but it is surprisingly compact, very well done Nitecore. On the other hand, I would prefer a bigger head for more throw.

My third one arrived (SP31).

Received headlamp replacement from Fenix.

Also two flashlights from Fitorch.

Got my 219c D4 a day or 2 ago. Love it.

I’m sure this has been done before, but I’m amazed at how tiny it is, so here it is next to my Convoy S2+ EDC with an 18350, but the D4 has the 18650 tube:

I also got the 1830 tube, but at that size, I’m carrying it with the 18650 for a while.

Today I got my BLF A6 bare (non-anodized) in 5A, with an S41S / S42S (18650) Extension Tube.

Wow, I have to say it’s awesome with this tube, the nicest knurling I have! (most aggressive)

.

My idea was to have the aggressive knurling of the S41S/S42S on the aluminum A6 so it wouldn’t be as heavy as a full stainless light.

The 5A tint is BEAUTIFUL! Way nicer than my 3D A6!

Do you feel comfortable carryng 1” round file in your pocket?

My second Rofis MR70 arrived today. What a great light. I love this light. Very unique design with tons of utility. This is a very high quality light.

I am super pleased …

Review: Review: ROFIS MR70

A Liitokala Lii-S-1 Charger. It seems to work well so far. The display is off by 10 mv when compared to a Fluke 189

^ Amazing how something this affordable can be so good looking. LiitoKala is quickly gaining a cult status in my book. :sunglasses:

BTW, there is a flashing V when reading voltage. The picture caught it between flashes.

Haha… Yes! And it also doubles as a cheese grater or meat tenderizer. :stuck_out_tongue:

Jokes aside, it’s not an EDC for me, but actually no, it’s not uncomfortable in my pocket.

.

(obviously) I’m a HUGE fan of aggressive knurling. I’d be nice if someone with a lathe made aluminum tubes with aggressive knurling like this for our Convoys, s2+, C8’s etc.

I’m not the only one who likes it.
