I'm still looking for the Glitter eneloops so I can have one of every eneloop ever made. Any idea for a decent place to get Glitter eneloops? I'll be gratefull enough to give you my first unborn child.

Those ebay eneloops appear to be the gen 1 variety. (Gen 1 Pt No 3UTG versus Gen 2 Pt No 3UTGA)
Based on some test discharge data I've seen, their performance seems to be comparable to the newer 1500 recharge gen 2s.
I would be interested to hear how the Turnigy AAs UDO mentioned are holding up after a few cycles.
The ones I got were gen 2 made dec 2010

ithink $37 for 12AA old eneloop is good price also for japanese.
Because of cyclic blackout and silly corner, eneloop are completely sold out in Tokyo now, and will be sold out again next summer...

Has anyone had any issues with fake batteries from hkequipment? There are some rumours that their panasonic NCR18650 are take from laptop battery packs.

Pretty good deal for 2500 XX Eneloops in the U.K.
Still amazed they don't hit US soil with these batteries yet ..Probably doesn't matter at all to me since I keep buying duraloops at a quarter of the price of newloops
