Which digital camera

Absolutely right ChiX! This was shot on Panny DMC-LX5. Not quite cheap for a P&S but cheap by DSLR standards:

ISO-100, 1/15, f/2.0

And this one on a 7 yeard old Sony DSC-T9 @ f3.5:

ISO-320, 1/8, f/3.5

Bokeh is likely easier to control w/a DSLR (with the right lens) but again not an absolute necessity. Of course, it also depends on the effect you're trying to achieve.

My other camera that I now often shoot with is a Panny FZ150.

Cheers,
Tim

I wish my 7D had your adjustable lcd.

Nothing replaces a DSLR and with the prices of new ones so inexpensive.

Photography is my passion too. I have many cameras (DSLR, film cameras, rangefinders, etc)

My last acquisition was an Olympus Micro 4/3 camera (E-PL2) and I'm having a lot of fun with it

Amazon is selling this at an unbelievable price ($391)

This photo was taken under artificial light at ISO 1600. Image quality is awesome

That is really a nice image having been shot at ISO 1600. Did you have to work it over to get rid of any noise, or is that actually how it came out of the camera?

Thank you. It was shot in jpg and I turned off noise reduction on camera.

To remove noise I use Dfine 2.0 Photoshop plugin from Nik Sofware (highly recommended). By the way, Pen cameras have very manageable noise levels.
