I saw another thread from recently where you and a couple other members where looking at the TM26GT was $160. which seems to be reasonable. $390. is definitely not reasonable for that light imo. Also stated in previous thread. Iām hoping that the TM28 will have better performance than any big single xhp70 light could ever attain. Additionally itās smaller as you said.
I know that the K60 with the shaved dome gets close to 1,000 meters of throw which is simply astonishing for the light @ price. I tried shaving the dome on the L6 NW and even current boosting it (didnāt current boost K60), it was great and all, but still not nothing like the K60.
Yeah, thanks for the wishes on the TM28. I hope itās good too. I guess I will find out soon enough. I was able to preorder it via black Friday for $270. which is still like, Iām glad I didnāt have a heart attack typing that just now, money. However, at that price, I think that if I donāt like it I wouldnāt have too much trouble making back even money as it will probably hang around $379. for a while.
Unbeatable, I almost pulled the trigger on this oneā¦ then I remembered that I donāt need it lol !
For less than the price of 3 emitters, you got a triple copper DTP MCPCPB and a TIR optic, thatās a huge bargain IMO !
Basically, you buy this, a BLF 17DD driver and an S2+ host and youāve got a 3000 lumens power rocket for less than 30$ !
I did, in my S10R II triple xp-g2 3C.
The beam is really similar to a 10507 carclo, to be fair I donāt see any difference.
The only difference is that the KD optic is integrally flat smooth and the carclo has thre recessed domes on the surface.
Surely it makes a difference in the beam but I donāt see it
