I’ve just recently bought a brand new Maranez Rawai 45 off a mate for a decent price.
Currently wearing it on its dark brown strap (it also has a spare light tan strap included) and letting it develop a patina gradually and naturally (it is a brass watch).
It is big, yes, but it is LUSH!!!
I love it to bits and I am so pleased I got it.
Here’s a pic off the web (don’t have time to upload my own at the minute)
My latest inexpensive watch. It’s a Timex Expedition model# T499629J. I paid around $37 for it. Super accurate. It gained less than a second in the month I’ve owned it so far.
Thanks Glenn, I kind of like chunky bands, 6mm thick so a nice weight. Have same strap on the 009 as well, prefer it to the hollow feel jubilee bracelet.
That’s a Casio 5028, easily my oldest surviving wristwatch to date. I honestly can’t remember how old it is, but I’m sure it’s a 2010 model at the latest. Sturdy as heck, faithful and comfortable like a dream when properly adjusted… Although the wristband can get smelly with time :confounded:
